Filmar at Pitti Filati 84


Sustainability is Pop: connecting people to action is the slogan chosen for the Filmar stand at Pitti Filati 84. 
A multi-color, lively and catchy stand to make way for fashion and creativity inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Agenda 2030. These goals aim at involving everyone and have become part of our everyday activities. This is why we work, so that sustainability can be understood and put in practice in its dimension of qualifying element for our everyday life, respecting the environment around us. A new appeal that doesn’t any longer imply giving up something and making great efforts, on the other hand, it is connected to the human need to live better and preserve the most precious things we have: ourselves and our planet.
In fact, an entire wall of the stand has been dedicated to a representation of the SDGs to which Filmar contributes along its production chain and which are, therefore, strategically connected to the company. A series of images placed along the front wall of the stand conveyed our effort translated into a collection of very high quality, sustainable yarns.
Still on the subject of the SDGs, we have dedicated an entire space to the ColorAMA for Sustainability Initiative, with an overview of interesting projects developed by students all over the world, expressing new trends in terms of color and texture for the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Along the same direction, we wanted to show some of the wonderful outfits by the eco-designer Tiziano Guardini, created for the “Sustainability Kit” as part of his Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The collection, with its vibrant and lively colors, tells a new approach to fashion, where man and nature coexist in harmony.
The Filoscozia brand’s red colour was the main actor of the East wing within Filmar’s exhibition space, interpreted in a new advertising image highlighting the strong emotional value of the brand, which revolves around the “liaison” between tradition and innovation. Finally, a pop-up area placed in the center of the stand included all our studies and researches carried out on new types of yarn reflecting the Made in Italy excellence along with some original combinations of natural and artificial materials such as recycled nylon and polyester combined with organic cotton. 
A space designed to grab the visitors’ attention to focus on the new frontiers of the fashion industry, such as sustainable innovation and social and environmental responsibility.
For a style made of genuine values that we wear and live every day.
