Ethical fashion collections in limited edition signed by young fashion designers who believe in fashion sustainability

The collaboration between Progetto QUID and Rediscovery begun with a workshop on fashion design sustainability at IUAV University of Venice. During the workshop, experimental
up-cycling activities coordinated by the IUAV professors and designers took place. Supported by a strong background of shared values, in December 2017 a representative of Progetto Quid was invited to the FDC to partake in an awareness event about circular economy in textile organized by Filmar, in collaboration with the UNIDO.
The experience of Progetto QUID has been presented to aware Egyptian students about a manufacturing world where sustainable innovation is already in motion and design and sustainability are the starting point of the creative process. The young fashion designers have been introduced to experiences and reflections about the necessity to preserve and promote fundamental values such as the protection of environment and people, key requirements for the economical growth of both individuals and communities. The students’ motivation and dedication ultimately resulted in beautiful pieces of clothing, produced in limited edition by the Progetto QUID presented at their store on 11th  May. The collection will be distributed by Progetto Quid in its Verona’s sales point.
